Netflix, Google, Facebook, Airbnb and other are making billions in profit every year in Canada, but these Web Giants aren’t contributing a single dime for our public services.

Canada has missed out on 155 million dollars in 2016 by not taxing Netflix. We also lost $700,000,000 last year by not taxing Facebook and Google’s ad revenues.

Why is it so? Because our laws aren’t adapted to the digital era. These multinational companies aren’t physically located in Canada. That means they’re not legally obligated to pay taxes, unlike you and I!

The government has to change our laws so that the Web Giants pay their fair share of taxes!
